If you’re like me, you probably have been watching the 2024 Paris Olympics. Last night I watched the Men’s 1500m race. What an incredible event it was to witness! Not only did Cole Hocker come from behind to win the gold, but he also set a new record. Fellow American Yared Nuguse, also received the bronze. It was a historic event to also witness all three of our American runners appear in the top five standings.
I was on pins and needles during the entire race, and like everyone else, wondered how Cole Hocker would get out of that boxed in situation, then to win the entire race.
Watch the final kick at the end. It was inspiring!
