While cleaning out my office, I came across a box that housed these beautiful glass goodies. They are my business achievement awards from the time I worked as a Close To My Heart Consultant. Those were fun times!

Looking at my awards, I’m pleased with my achievement but there is that nagging feeling that these are not enough. Have you ever felt like that? You achieve a lot of great things, but it still feels like you can do more? That’s how I feel.

I took a photo of my notebook and then realized…boy, do I have dirty fingers. Look at all those ink smudges. That must be from a lot of handwriting…I hope?

I read Enemy Women by Paulette Jiles for the local book club I belong to. Wonderful story telling and insightful writing style.

I’ve been listening to this song called Paradise by Wild Nothing. I often use music as a reward for completing a writing project. I can’t listen to music with words while I’m writing though. It’s too distracting for me, but light instrumental music is wonderful.

I’ve also been watching a lot of time-lapse videos. Love them! It has a lot to do with the way we see things in the scope of time. A beautiful scenery that appears as if it’s been there forever, thousands of years, captured through time-lapse lens in all of seven minutes is incredible technology to me.
